To the editor,
In an era of instant communication how can we accept the continuation of the lame-duck period between elections and inaugurations?
I believe this schedule was set up in the days when communication was by pony express 150 years ago. Today we could avoid a lot of silly activity that we are now seeing that is nothing but absolute childish nonsense. I would suggest that a Legislative holiday be set up for a couple days instead.
