The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

THOMAS GAFFNEY, 31, of 119 Meadow Lark Road, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 10 with third-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery, fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and third-degree identity theft.

Police reported on Nov. 10 at approximately 6:01 p.m. Gaffney turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was fraudulent check complaint. Police reported Gaffney deposited checks from the victim’s closed account into his account. The bank incurred a loss of $1,102.05, police reported. Gaffney was given a court date of Nov. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 cash bond.

THOMAS ARSENAULT, 43, of 43 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 10 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Nov. 10 at approximately 3:27 p.m. Arsenault was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Arsenault was given a court date of Nov. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $20,000 surety bond.

KAREN GUERRERA, 51, of 17 Stumpf Ave., Thomaston, was charged Nov. 10 with evading responsibility motor vehicle and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked.

Police reported on Nov. 10 at approximately 3:07 p.m. an officer responded to North Main Street for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Guerrera backed into a parked vehicle and left the scene without giving the victim her vehicle and insurance information. During the investigation, police reported, the operator was later identified. Guerrera was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

KELLY BURBANK, 33, of 74 Carriage Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 10 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Nov. 10 at approximately 10:51 p.m. officers responded to 74 Carriage Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Burbank scratched the victim. Burbank was given a court date of Nov. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

WILLIAM HAVENS, 37, of 29 Hemlock Drive, Shelton, was charged Nov. 11 with driving under the influence, use of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of narcotic.

Police reported on Nov. 11 at approximately 7:04 p.m. an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle parked on the Route 8 South Exit 25 off ramp. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Havens was operating under the influence of alcohol and or narcotics. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Havens was in possession of 0.5 grams of heroin, glassine bags and a syringe.
Havens was given a court date of Nov. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a surety bond.

AARON EWINGS, 24, of 30 Tawny Thrush Road, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 13 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on Nov. 13 at approximately 7:24 p.m. Ewings was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Nov. 10, 2014 at 30 Tawny Thrush Road between girlfriend and boyfriend. During an argument, police reported, the victim attempted to leave the residence. Ewings grabbed the victim to prevent her from leaving and also damaged a TV and chair in the home, police reported. Ewings was given a court date of Nov. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

NICOLE PAGANO, 34, of 89 Garden St., Ansonia, was charged Nov. 14 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 14 at approximately 2:11 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Pagano stole clothing, a movie and toys valued at $73.77, police reported. Pagano was given a court date of Nov. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

MEGAN RICCI, 24, of 29 Arch St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 14 with driving under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast.

Police reported on Nov. 14 an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ricci was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ricci was given a court date of Nov. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

WILMARIE VIDAL, 22, of 1711 North Main St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 14 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 14 at approximately 10:44 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Vidal, with an accomplice, stole $443.73 worth of merchandise from store, police reported. Vidal was given a court date of Nov. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on $1,000 surety bond.

KARON NEALY, 37, of 45 Eastern Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 14 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 14 at approximately 10:44 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Nealy, with an accomplice, stole $443.73 worth of merchandise from store, police reported. Nealy was given a court date of Nov. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on $1,000 surety bond.

WILLIAM FREIHEIT, 30, of 152 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 15 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 15 at approximately 10:17 p.m. officers responded to 29 Harlow Court for a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument, police reported, there was a physical altercation. Freiheit was given a court date of Nov. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ERIC MALONEY, 29, of 29 Harlow Court, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 15 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 15 at approximately 10:17 p.m. officers responded to 29 Harlow Court for a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument, police reported, there was a physical altercation. Maloney was given a court date of Nov. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

INFINITTI ROBINSON, 19, of 69 Fairview Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 16 with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 16 at approximately 9 a.m. Robinson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Jan. 23, 2014 a 96 Aetna St. Robinson and the victim are acquaintances. During an argument, police reported, the Robinson punched the victim. Robinson was given a court date of Nov. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

STEVEN AYRES, 38, of 142 East Mountian Road, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 17 with driving under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast.

Police reported on Nov. 17 at approximately 12:36 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ayres was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ayres was given a court date of Dec. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
