To the editor,

I am writing to ask for your support to re-elect Lezlye Zupkus so that she can continue to represent all residents in the 89th General Assembly District, which covers the towns of Bethany, Prospect and Cheshire.

Since her election in 2012, Ms. Zupkus has worked on real issues affecting the safety of all Connecticut residents including: Voting against reduction of the size of drug free zones around schools; Voting against early release policy for prisoners; Supporting legislation requiring notification to towns when a registered sex offender gets released into a community.

In addition, she has been honored by MADD for outstanding commitment to providing safe sober driving through legislation. She is pro-business and anti-large government. She has been knowledgeable and informative on the various topics/questions asked at the various town hall meetings held with Senator Markley and she is always available to speak to constituents.

Connecticut needs Lezlye Zupkus. I will be voting for her on Nov. 4 and ask that you go out and cast your vote to re-elect Lezlye to represent all of us in the 89th District.
