NAUGATUCK — Mary A. Sherwinsky, 88, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 at VITAS at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mary was born April 10, 1926 in Ansonia, the daughter of Antonio and Rosalee (Ginex) Palumbo. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident moving from Bethany in 1969.
She is survived by her brother, Peter Palumbo of Oxford; her sister, Josephine Mastro of Texas, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
