The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MATTHEW SOLBERG, 26, of 139 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 13 with first-degree criminal trespass and possession of controlled substances.

Police reported on Oct. 13 officers responded to 139 Lewis St. #3 for a trespassing complaint. Police reported Solberg was found in the property which was condemned by the building inspector due to a fire. During the investigation, police reported, Solberg was found to be in possession of two syringes and heroin. Solberg was given a court date of Oct. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a total $5,000 non-surety bond.

DILLON SHERMAN, 21, of 638 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, was charged Oct. 14 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 5:16 p.m. an officer responded to Big Y for a shoplifting complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sherman violated a valid protective order. Sherman was in the store with the protected person named in the order, police reported. Sherman was given a court date of Oct. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ANIELLO LIGUORI, 51, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 14 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 6:08 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Liguori pushed the victim. Liguori was given a court date of Oct. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

ADRIAN OLIVERO, 42, of 32 Patricia Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 14 with third-degree assault, breach of peace, interfering with an officer, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 7:11 p.m. officers responded to Bridge Street for domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Olivero slapped and punched the victim. Olivero then ran from the area. A K9 was used to locate Olivero near the train tracks, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, the victim was found to have stolen merchandise on her from Big Y and Family Dollar Store. Olivero was given a court date of Oct. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a surety bond.

ANNIKA EKBERGH-PEEK, 30, of 71 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 14 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 7:11 p.m. officers responded to Bridge Street for domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the investigation, police reported, Ekbergh-Peek was found to have stolen merchandise on her from Big Y and Family Dollar Store. Ekbergh-Peek was given a court date of Oct. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DANIEL BRYANT, 28, of 173 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 14 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a child.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 10:20 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a juvenile. Police reported Bryant slapped and punched the juvenile that he was watching. Bryant was given a court date of Oct. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

RUSSELL LANGHANS, 45, of 139 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 15 with illegal sale of controlled substance.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 3:27 p.m. Langhans was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic investigation during the month of May 2014. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Langhans sold prescription medication. Langhans was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $50,000 surety bond.

ANNUNZIATA ZACCARIELLO, 33, of 57 Broc Terrace, Shelton, was charged Oct. 15 with issuing a bad check and fifth-degree larceny.

The charges were nolled. The case was disposed of in Waterbury Superior Court on June 26, 2015. A nolle means prosecutors have 13 months to continue their case if new evidence comes to light. After that time, the charges are dismissed. Court records indicate the charges against Zaccariello have been dismissed.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 1:22 p.m. Zaccariello was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint made on Sept. 24, 2014 at People’s United Bank. Police reported Zaccariello deposited a check and withdrew money against that check. The check was returned for non-sufficient funds. Zaccariello was given a court date of Oct. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500.00 non-surety bond.

MILTON CORTEZ, 29, of 68 Celentano Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 15 with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a child and violation of restraining order.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 8:58 p.m. Cortez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on Oct. 7, 2014 at 68 Celetano Drive. During an argument, police reported, Cortez kicked and punched a door in the home. There were children present during the altercation, police reported. Cortez violated an active protective order due to his actions, police reported. Cortez was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

DIANE TEIXEIRA, 57, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 12:49 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Teixeira stole $47.86 worth of merchandise. Teixeira was given a court date of Oct. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

RODERICK ZIMMERMAN, 35, of 208 Judith Lane, Waterbury, was charged Oct. 15 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 4:59 p.m. Zimmerman was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Zimmerman was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

ERIKA MATTHEWS, 19, of 111 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 5:13 p.m. officers responded to 111 Wooster St. unit 7D for a domestic disturbance between father and daughter. During an argument, police reported, Matthews damaged a kitchen table with kitchen knives and kicked a hole in a wall. Matthews was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

SEAN FINNEGAN, 27, of 125 Middle St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 16 with interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 16 at approximately 12:45 a.m. an officer observed Finnegan intoxicated and walking in the roadway. When the officer was speaking with him, police reported, Finnegan reached out at the officer. While in the booking area Finnegan was uncooperative and attempted to spit at the officers, police reported. Finnegan was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.
