To the editor,

I am voting for Lezlye Zupkus as the 89th state representative.

As a wife and mother, I have specific concerns about what is going on in Connecticut. The seemingly unending rise in taxes, education and public safety are just a few key issues that have me and many other parents concerned. I do not feel that those in power in Hartford have our best interests in mind.

Lezlye understands these concerns and has been doing something about it. She is a wife and mother of two school-age children herself. She has voted against tax hikes, opposes Common Core and is a member of the public safety committee. After I spoke with her I felt that she truly represents us in this district.

Remember — Lezlye Zupkus on Nov. 4.
