This veteran is supporting Lezlye Zupkus.
I am a Marine Corps veteran who is deeply involved in helping other veterans enjoy the sport of fishing. Earlier this year, I had sought the help of Representative Lezlye Zupkus to reduce the group fishing license fee that veterans groups like mine have to pay. After explaining my story, Rep. Zupkus immediately introduced legislation to cut the fee from $250 to $125 and more impressively, she got the measure passed into law.
On behalf of veterans like myself, I want to thank Rep. Zupkus and her office for their fine work to make this happen. She had always made herself available when I have contacted her, and I was always treated with respect and courtesy. It is refreshing to know that there are civil servants who truly care about the individuals they serve. On Nov. 4, I will be voting for Lezlye Zupkus, and I enthusiastically encourage everyone to do the same.
