To the editor,
Twenty-eight years ago I moved here from Minnesota and had the good fortune of being hired by Dr. Roy Skeirik as his dental hygienist. After he retired, I continued in the practice working for Dr. Dawn Mikaitis. I was recently given the opportunity to work with the elderly, something I had always dreamed of doing. I seized this opportunity; however, I unfortunately had to leave the practice and all the wonderful patients I had the privilege to serve.
I want to thank each and every one of them and the staff with whom I worked. My only regret is that I didn’t get to personally thank you and give you all one last hug.
