FAIR HAVEN, Vt. — Barbara A. Daveluy, 46 of Fair Haven died Wednesday evening Sept. 24, 2014 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born on April 2, 1968 in Waterbury, Conn.
Ms. Daveluy grew up in Naugatuck, Conn. where she graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1986. She was a supervisor for Bloomingdales by Mail for many years prior to relocating to Fair Haven where she was employed by several local stores and for the last 6 years by First Light Technologies.
Ms. Daveluy enjoyed cross-stitch, camping, photography and going to tag sales with her mom. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #3907 and the American Legion Unit # 49 Auxiliary in Fair Haven,VT.
Survivors include her mother, Joanne Chandler of Fair Haven; two sisters, Michele Miller and her husband, Dennis, of Naugatuck, Conn. and Diane Daveluy of Fair Haven; a niece, Jenna Miller and a nephew, Carl Miller also from Naugatuck, Conn. She was predeceased by her father, Howard “Tony” Chandler in 2000.
At the family’s request there will be no formal funeral or memorial services. A Celebration of Life party will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fair Haven American Legion.
