The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MARITA WATTS, 39, of 68 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 1 was charged Sept. 1 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 1 at approximately 1:43 p.m. officers responded to 68 Anderson St.1st floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Watts punched the victim and threw hot water at him. Watts was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

LISA STUMPO, 47, of 33 Red Robin Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 1 with cruelty to animals.

DAVID STUMPO, 50, of 33 Red Robin Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 1 with cruelty to animals.

DANIEL HARTSHORN, 62, of 157 Beacon Manor, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 2 with second-degree sexual assault.

ANGEL MOROCHO, 46, of 39 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 4 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 4 at approximately 11:58 p.m. officers responded to 39 Oak St. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Morocho threw a beer bottle at his girlfriend and pushed her. Morocho was given a court date of Sept. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JACQUELINE RODRIGUEZ, 42, of 70 Austin Road, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 4 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 4 at approximately 11:58 p.m. officers responded to 39 Oak St. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Rodriguez punched her boyfriend. Rodriguez was given a court date of Sept. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DEBORAH JAFFER, 60, of 479 Chestnut Tree Hill Road, Oxford, was charged Sept. 5 with driving under the influence, drinking while operating a motor vehicle and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Sept. 5 at approximately 5:35 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Jaffer was operating under the influence of alcohol. Police reported Jaffer was observed drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined there was a juvenile in the vehicle. Jaffer was given a court date of Sept. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a total $3,000 surety bond.

DAVID HESS, 38, of 933 Rubber Ave. Ext., Naugatuck was charged Sept. 5 with failure to register: sexually violent offense.

Police reported on Sept. 5 detectives responded to South Central Jail, Charleston, W.V. which was holding Hess on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of the sex registry. Hess failed to re-register his address in Connecticut after moving from out of state, police reported. Hess was transported to the Naugatuck Police Department for processing. Hess was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $100,000 surety bond.

MICHAEL LOPEZ, 30, of 550 Baldwin St., was charged Sept. 6 with sixth-degree larceny, breach of peace, brandishing of facsimile firearms, interfering with an officer and weapons in vehicles.

CHRISTINA RYAN, 36, of 69 Daggett St., New Haven, was charged Sept. 7 with third-degree identity theft, third-degree larceny, second-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Sept. 7 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Ryan was arrested on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a fraud complaint made on July 30, 2014. Police reported Ryan stole the victim’s Kohls credit card and made purchases at various Khols stores totally $2,280.33. Ryan was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

The second warrant was for a burglary complaint made on Aug. 1, 2014. Ryan, who is an acquaintance, entered the victim’s home without permission and stole money and a credit card, police reported. Ryan was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

JOHNATHON PEAY, 29, of 45 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 7 with first-degree robbery, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree threatening, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.
