NAUGATUCK — Roma Boyne, 77, of Naugatuck, entered into rest on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard Boyne.
Roma was born in Milford on Feb. 28, 1937, daughter of the late Raymond and Sophie (Bilinski) Stanislawski, and lived most of her life in Derby. She worked as a machine operator for the W.E. Bassett Co. in Derby for many years. Roma enjoyed sewing and crafts, and attending the state fair. She loved spending Christmas with her family.
She was the beloved mother of Scott Boyne and his wife, Karen, and Brian Boyne and his wife, Heather. She also leaves four cherished grandchildren, CarolAnne and Zachary Lauer and Morgan and Hannah Boyne; two brothers, Theodore Stanislawski and James Martin; a stepsister, Susan Musto; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Stanislawski, and a sister, Jean Halat.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby, on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 5 p.m.
