NAUGATUCK — Francis James “Jim” Ash, 74, of 53 Conrad St., husband of the late Mary Anne Ash, died Aug. 26, 2014 at his home.
Jim was born March 28, 1940 in Waterbury, a son of the late Edward J. and Mary (Allen) Ash and had lived in Naugatuck all of his life.
Jim is survived by a son, James Ash of Texas; two daughters, Sheila Brennan of Beacon Falls and Karen O’Donnell of Cheshire; a brother, Edward J. Ash of Florida; three sisters, Ann Pugliese of Naugatuck, Kathleen Ash of North Providence, R.I. and Peggy Styfco of Northford; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ash was predeceased by a son, Michael Ash.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at 9 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., has been entrusted with arrangements.
