The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

BRIAN JACKSON, 18, of 76 Svea Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with conspiracy at third-degree burglary.

Police reported on Aug. 18 at approximately 4:12 p.m. Jackson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for vandalism to a motor vehicle reported on May 22, 2014. Police reported Jackson was accompanied by a juvenile male who entered a parked truck on Elm Street and lit the passenger side bench seat on fire. Jackson was given a court date of Sept. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

ANDREAU DEHART, 25, of 179 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 18 at approximately 12:18 p.m. officers responded to 179 Ward St. for a domestic disturbance between brother and sister. During an argument, police reported, Dehart spit at the victim. Dehart was given a court date of Aug. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

LANI LEWIS, 31, of 146 Coach Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 18 at approximately 3:12 p.m. an officer investigated a domestic disturbance that occurred earlier in the day. During an argument a man pushed Lewis and Lewis hit the man in the mouth, police reported. Lewis was given a court date of Aug. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a Promise to Appear.

JOHN GUADALUPE, 42, of 146 Coach Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 18 at approximately 3:12 p.m. an officer investigated a domestic disturbance that occurred earlier in the day. During an argument Guadalupe pushed a woman and she hit him in the mouth, police reported. Guadalupe was given a court date of Aug. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a Promise to Appear.

MICHAEL SHASHATY, 22, of 191 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 1:51 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument the roommates pushed each other, police reported. Shashaty was given a court date of Aug. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

VERONICA CASTRO, 30, of 191 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 1:51 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument the roommates pushed each other, police reported. Castro was given a court date of Aug. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOHN OPPEDISANO, 22, of 236 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 20 with violation of protective order, first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 20 at approximately 7 p.m. officers responded to 515 North Main St. 2nd floor for a domestic dispute. During an argument, police reported, Oppedisano pushed the victim, which was determined to be in violation of an active protective order. Oppedisano was given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

JAMES LYNCH, 42, of 149 Chipper Road, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 20 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 20 an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Lynch stole three DVD movies worth a total of $61.88. Lynch was given a court date of Sept. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

LINA VANEPPS, 45, of 503 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 21 at approximately 8:50 p.m. officers responded to McDonalds, New Haven Road, for a report of past domestic dispute. The altercation occurred at the victim’s home. During an argument, police reported, Vanepps the victim in front of their children. Vanepps was given a court date of Aug. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

AVENA BROOKS, 18, of 150 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 21 with third-degree forgery and fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 21 Brooks turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a stolen check reported on June 30, 2104. Police reported Brooks stole the victim’s check forged his name and deposited into her account. The amount of the check was $640, police reported. Brooks was given a court date of Sept. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

NICOLE WRIGHT, 19, of 126 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 21 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 21 at approximately 1:38 p.m. Wright turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Aug. 4, 2014. During an argument, police reported, Wright attempted to hit and kick the victim. Wright was given a court date of Aug. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH SMITH, 29, of 203 Kaynor Drive, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 21 with third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 21 Smith was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on July 30, 2014 at 704 Rubber Ave. Police reported Smith forced entry to the business and stole five cartons of cigarettes worth $425. Smith was given a court date of Aug. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $150,000 court-set surety bond.

MICHAEL MEZZIO, 18, of 461 North Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 22 with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 22 at approximately 3:24 p.m. Mezzio turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Aug. 4, 2014. During an argument, police reported, Mezzio pulled the victim’s hair and slapped her. Mezzio was given a court date of Aug. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ALEXANDER ONESCHUK, 67, of 1057 Andrew Mountain Road, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 23 with violation of home/office health requirements and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 23 officers responded to 1057 Andrew Ave. for a landlord and tenant dispute. Police reported Oneschuk shut off the electrical power to the tenant’s living area. Oneschuk was given a court date of Aug. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

TAYLOR HUBBELL, 21, of 251 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 24 at approximately 1:29 p.m. Hubbell was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Hubbell was given a court date of Sept. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

JASON NELSON, 30, of 564 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 24 at approximately 2:17 p.m. Nelson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Nelson was given a court date of Aug. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

RAYMOND WOOD, 42, of 925 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 24 with driving under the influence, improper use of marker and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Aug. 24 at approximately 3:48 p.m. officers responded to 129 Millville Ave. for an erratic driver. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wood was operating under the influence of alcohol. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wood was in possession of clear tube with steel wool used as a smoking pipe for narcotics. Wood was given a court date of Sept. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
