The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

LINNEA SAVOY, 43, of 138 Hillcrest Ave., Waterbury, was charged June 23 with breach of peace and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on June 23 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Savoy turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an intimidation complaint between acquaintances. Police reported Savoy sent threatening messages via Facebook, threatening to harm the victim. Savoy was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

RAY RODRIGUEZ, 33, of 166 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged June 23 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 23 at approximately 4:37 p.m. an officer investigated a domestic disturbance between stepfather and stepson at 166 Meadow St. 2nd floor. During an argument, police reported, Rodriguez tackled and punched the victim. Rodriguez was given a court date of June 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

MARCUS POWELL, 25, of 110 Congress Ave., Waterbury, was charged June 24 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on June 24 at approximately 3 p.m. Powell turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Powell was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 court-set cash bond.

MARK HANSON, 34, of 247 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged June 27 with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on June 27 at approximately 11:15 p.m. Hanson turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary complaint made on June 11, 2014. Police reported Hanson entered the victim’s apartment and stole a CD player, Playstation, 19-inch flat screen TV and toys. He was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH BROWN JR., 39, of 87 Deerfield Ave., Waterbury, was charged June 27 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 27 at approximately 11:35 p.m. Brown was arrested on an active arrest warrant. He was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 court-set cash bond.

RICARDO ROJAS, 19, of 159 Red Robin Road, Naugatuck, was charged June 27 with sixth-degree larceny, first-degree failure to appear and three counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 27 at approximately 11:29 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Rojas stole merchandise totaling $107.96. Police reported Rojas was also arrested on active arrest warrants for failure to appear. He was given a court date of June 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set bond.

DANIEL D. CONROY, 34, of 41 Davin Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 28 with driving under the influence, failure to have lights lit and illegally carrying a firearm under the influence.

Police reported on June 28 at approximately 2:35 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Davin Drive. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Conroy was operating under the influence of alcohol. During the investigation it was determined, police reported, Conroy was in possession of a handgun while intoxicated. He was given a court date of July 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

MARK RUSSO, 45, of 34 Melbourne Court, Naugatuck, was charged June 28 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 28 at approximately 12 p.m. Russo turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. He was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 court-set surety bond.

ERIC BIVENS, 47, of 34 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged June 28 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 28 at approximately 4:23 p.m. Bivens was arrested on an active arrest warrant. He was given a court date of June 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $500 cash bond.

DOUGLAS VAUGHAN, 40, of 41 Country Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged June 29 with breach of peace.

Police reported on June 29 at approximately 1:37 a.m. officers responded to Fox Hill condos for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Vaughan pushed the victim to the ground. He was given a court date of June 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ROBERT NIGHTINGALE II, 32, of 2 Hickory St., Terryville, was charged June 29 with driving under the influence, failure to renew registration and weapons in vehicle.

Police reported on June 29 at approximately 11:36 p.m. officers responded to the North Main Street Cumberland Farms for a possible intoxicated driver. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Nightingale was operating under the influence of alcohol. Police reported he had a hatchet near the console. He was given a court date of June 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a total $3,500 surety bond.

DANA TROCHEZ, 32, was charged June 30 with credit card theft by transfer, illegal use of credit card, third-degree identity theft, third-degree larceny, three counts of sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy toward commission of crime

Police reported on June 30 Trochez was arrested while at court on active arrest warrants. He was given a court date of June 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

JESUS SOTO, 42, of 541 51st St., Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged June 30 with second-degree harassment and violation of protective order.

Police reported on June 30 Soto was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassment complaint made on May 19, 2014. Police reported Soto violated a protective order by threatening the victim through text messaging and phone calls. He was given a court date of July 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $150,000 surety bond.

JOHN LAVERTY III, 44, of 2 Harvest Lane, Naugatuck, was charged June 30 with breach of peace, interfering with an officer, assault on public safety or emergency personnel and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on June 30 officers responded to a disturbance. The incident began on New Haven Road where Laverty and another man were engaged in an argument. Laverty arrived at the man’s home where the arguing continued, police reported. During the incident Laverty began to yell obscenities at the officer, police reported. When being placed under arrest he began to resist, police reported. Laverty attempted to push off the cruiser causing the hood to dent, police reported. Laverty was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $5,000 surety bond.

JOST SCHREIBER, 70, of 336 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged June 30 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on June 30 at approximately 9:50 p.m. officers responded to 336 North Hoadley St. for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Schreiber hit the victim several times with his cane. He was given a court date of July 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SCOTT TARDY, 20, of 169 Skokorat St., Seymour, was charged June 30 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on June 30 an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Tardy and another man stole electronic items. He was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANTHONY MISAKIAN, 19, of 3 Pheasant Drive, Seymour, was charged June 30 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on June 30 an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Misakian and another man stole electronic items. He was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NICHOLAS ANDREWS, 33, of 166 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with breach of peace.

Police reported on July 1 at approximately 8:05 p.m. officers responded to the parking lot of DD Liquors on Bridge Street for a fight. During an argument, police reported, Andrews tried to hit and kick the victim. He was given a court date of July 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
