NAUGATUCK — Arthur C. Pratt, 65, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Griffin Hospital. He was the husband of Judee (Finsel) Lenners Pratt.

Arthur was born on July 22, 1948 in Waterbury a son of the late, Edward and Mable (Monroe) Pratt. He was retired from Anaconda Copper & Brass where he worked as an inspector for many years. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post 1946, American Legion and was the past exalted ruler of the Naugatuck Lodge of Elks.

Besides his wife Judee, he is survived by one son, Jack Lenners of Oxford; two step-daughters, Molly Lenners of Woodbury and Kimberly Magnuson of Norwalk; two sisters, Marilyn LaFontain and her husband Ernest of Prospect and Judy Bartlett and her husband Wayne of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Robert Pratt of Houghton, La. and Edward Pratt and his wife Pam of Naugatuck. He will also be missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews as well as several great-nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Griffin Hospital, especially in the hospice ward for the wonderful care they gave Arthur in his time of need.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The Elks ritual will be performed at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7 p.m. and the Veterans Council will meet at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7:45 p.m. to perform their ritual.
