NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library will feature the photography of Jeff Pudlinski throughout May.

Pudlinski is a self-taught, award-winning photographer whose work has been featured internationally as well as on the National Geographic YourShot Images page, a press release issued by the library stated.

Influenced by American landscape painter Eric Sloane, Pudlinski strives to capture light and “images of the world we’ve known but often pass by too quickly,” the release stated. Like Sloane, Pudlisnki seeks to record cultural history through his images.

This month’s exhibit on the Whittemore Gallery Wall features photographs from Pudlinski’s “Working Class” study, which chronicles the way the working class built America. The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours. The library is located at 243 Church St. For more information, call (203) 729-4591.
