NAUGATUCK — Linda Hart, 84, went peacefully to heaven on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was born Aug. 9, 1929; the daughter of the late Karl Steiner and Maria (Niemand) Steiner.
Linda, a native of Germany, came to America in 1953. In 1955, she married Robert Hart. Linda worked for the Bristol Babcock Company as a factory worker until 1962. In 1976, Linda went back to Bristol Babcock where she became a supervisor. She retired in 1992. Linda also sewed for many customers. Linda’s hobbies were reading, walking with friends and loved ones, and gardening.
She leaves one daughter, Tracey Hart of Naugatuck; two brothers-in-law, James Hart and Pete Passeck; two sisters-in-law, Mary Hart and Judith Passeck; one niece, Susan Johnson and her husband Tim; four nephews, Robert Hart and his wife Cindy, Douglas Hart and his wife Clare, Jeff Passeck and his wife Chris, Pete Passeck and his wife Cathi.
The funeral will be private and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
