NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Margaret M. (Fruin) Caulfield, 90, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospice unit surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis H. Caulfield, Sr.
Margaret was born in Naugatuck on Jan. 13, 1924 a daughter of the late Clarence and Josephine (Buckley) Fruin. She was retired from Homer D. Bronson’s Manufacturing facility.
Mrs. Caulfield is survived by two children, son, Francis H. Caulfield, Jr. of Lakeville, Minn. and daughter, Margaret M. Rader of Edgewood, Wash., four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one niece, her caretaker. She was predeceased by one sister, Jean (Fruin) Dominiczak and two brothers, Jack and William Fruin.
Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect, is in charge of the arrangements.
