BEACON FALLS — Antoinette Mary Magda Farrell, 94, of Beacon Falls, beloved wife of the late George W. Farrell, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at West River Health Care Center of Milford.
Antoinette was born in Beacon Falls on May 2, 1919 the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Rose Dutkowska Magda. Antoinette was a devout communicant of St. Anthony’s Church of Ansonia. Antoinette was a retired bookkeeper for Palmer Brothers Moving Company of Ansonia and Custom Cable of Seymour. She was an avid homemaker and also loved cooking. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and will remain forever in our hearts.
Her loving family includes her caring son Richard Farrell and his wife Sharyn of Adena, Ohio and her devoted daughter Linda Farrell of West Haven; two loving sisters, Edna Manning of Cleveland, Ohio and Sophie Martin of Derby; three cherished grandsons, Greg Pilloise, Shayne Pilloise and Glenn Spamer Jr., also surviving are several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Walter, Edward and John Magda
A funeral service in celebration of Antoinette’s life will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (Route 67 across from Klarides Village) Seymour, with the Reverend Stephen Krugel, officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the start of the service at 2 p.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
