The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

ROGER FARKAS, 70, of 43 Longview Terrace, Naugatuck, was charged April 7 with violation of probation.

Police reported on April 7 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Farkas was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Farkas was given a court date of April 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $150,000 surety bond.

JEREMY ANDINO, 19, of 63 Temple St., Waterbury, was charged April 8 with first-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree larceny, two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, three counts of third degree burglary, first-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree larceny and second-degree false statement.

ROBERT OLOFSON, 23, of 97 Maple St., Seymour, was charged April 8 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on April 8 at approximately 5:32 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 35 Curtis St. for domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, the victim called the police and Olofson attempted to grab the phone from the victim. Olofson was given a court date of April 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

RUI BATISTA, 33, of 51 Pilgrim Lane, Naugatuck, was charged April 8 with driving under the influence, evading responsibility motor vehicle, failure to drive right and reckless driving.

Police reported on April 8 at approximately 11:50 p.m. officers responded to the area of May Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Batista struck a vehicle and attempted to leave the scene. The victim followed Batista until the police arrived, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Batista was operating under the influence of alcohol. Batista was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

JAVON COUTURE, 19, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 9 with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy at third-degree burglary and conspiracy at fourth-degree larceny.

ERIC SCHIEFERSTEIN, 29, of 101 Magnolia Hill Road, Bethlehem, was charged April 9 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 3:18 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Schieferstein stole a sofa slipcover valued at $79.96. Schieferstein was given a court date of April 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOHN DAVELUY, 47, of 12 Spindle Hill Road, Wolcott, was charged April 10 with risk of injury to child, breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on April 10 at approximately 7:19 p.m. officers responded to South Main Street for a domestic disturbance in a vehicle. During an argument, police reported, the accused pulled a juvenile out of a vehicle and threw him to the ground. Daveluy was given a court date of April 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
