The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

CARLOS BERAS, 25, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with possession of less than 4 ounces of cannabis substance.

JOHN BROWN, 27, of 266 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with fifth-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 6:56 a.m. the accused turned Brown in on an active arrest warrant. Brown was given a court date of April 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 court-set cash bond.

GARY JOHNSON, 48, of 40 Lorann Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 7:01 a.m. officers responded to 40 Lorann Drive for a domestic disturbance between brothers. During an argument, police reported, Johnson punched the victim. Johnson was given a court date of April 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

PATRICIA JOHNSON, 53, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 9:28 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge for a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument both parties threw items at each other, police reported. Johnson was given a court date of April 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT SKRANSKI, 55, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 9:28 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge for a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument both parties threw items at each other, police reported. Skranski was given a court date of April 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER DEPALLO, 23, of Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with third-degree possession of child pornography.

RANDOLPH PIGHT, 48, of 81 High St., Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 8:02 p.m. Pight was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on March 8, 2014. During an argument with an acquaintance, police reported, Pight punched the victim. Pight was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

LOUISA SUPRANOVICH, 44, of 1224 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with third-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 2 Supranovich turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for larceny complaint made on Jan. 14, 2014. Police reported Supranovich altered a money order from her former employer for the amount of $325 and cashed the order. Supranovich was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $325 court-set cash bond.

LUIS BURGOS JR., 18, of 40 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 10:20 a.m. officers responded to 40 Ridge Road unit 4 for a domestic disturbance between father and son. During an argument, police reported, Burgos punched the victim in the face and back. Burgos was given a court date of April 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

FRANCES MCCLINTICK, 46, of 75 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 3:51 p.m. an officer responded to Rubber Avenue by Church Street for a suspicious vehicle blocking two lanes of traffic. During the investigation it was determined the occupants of the vehicle were involved in a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend, police reported. Both parties were in violation of active protective orders. McClintick was given a court date of April 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

THOMAS HUBBELL, 47, of 75 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with violation of protective order and weapons in vehicles.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 3:51 p.m. an officer responded to Rubber Avenue by Church Street for a suspicious vehicle blocking two lanes of traffic. During the investigation it was determined the occupants of the vehicle were involved in a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend, police reported. Both parties were in violation of active protective orders. Knumb Chucks were found inside Hubbell’s vehicle, police reported. Hubbell was given a court date of April 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

JULIA ANDERSON, 46, of 53 High St., Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported on April 2 officers responded to 53 High St. to serve an active arrest warrant on a male party. Police reported Anderson answered the door and lied to the officer stating the male was not in the home. The male was found hiding in a bedroom closet, police reported. Anderson was given a court date of April 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

ESMAIL BANISAIED, 25, of 4 Simmons St., Waterbury, was charged April 2 with failure to keep right, driving under the influence and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 11:14 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Banisaied was operating under the influence of alcohol. Banisaied was given a court date of April 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOHN HUMPHRIES, 57, of 66 Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with driving under the influence and failure to grant right-of-way.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 4:46 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Humphries was operating under the influence of alcohol. Humphries was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MICHAEL RUDDY, 21, of 38 Ann St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with driving under the influence, traveling unreasonably fast and operating or towing an unregistered motor vehicle.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 11:27 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ruddy was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ERIKA GONZALEZ-BERGANZA, 30, of 184 Maple St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with driving under the influence and improper use of marker.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 8:27 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gonzalez-Berganza was operating under the influence of alcohol. Gonzalez-Berganza was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CAZZIE INVERSON, 42, of 110 Parkwood Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 5 with driving under the influence, failure to drive right, narcotic kept only in original container and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 2:05 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Iverson was operating under the influence of alcohol. During the investigation it was determined, police reported, Iverson was in possession of Acetaminophen and Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills. Iverson was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SHANAYA METZ, 24, of 282 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with leaving child under 12 years old unsupervised in public place or motor vehicle.

MICHAEL MERCIER, 30, of 76 Alma St., Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with disobeying signal of an officer and driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 11 p.m. Mercier turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle investigation on March 1, 2014 on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Mercier was operating under the influence of alcohol. Mercier was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 court-set cash bond.

THOMAS HUNT III, 22, of 1317 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 9:36 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between brothers. During an argument, police reported, Hunt kicked the juvenile. Thomas was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH CREGO, 18, of 59 Kingswood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 11:22 p.m. an officer responded to a violation of a protective order. Police reported Crego contacted the victim through text messaging, which was determined to be in violation of a no contact protective order. Crego was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.
