PROSPECT — The Prospect Lions Club is calling all runners and walkers to help raise money for eye research and families in need.
The 8th annual Easter Run for Eye Research will be held, rain or shine, April 19 at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road. The event features a 5K and 2 mile non-competitive walk. Registration will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. The walk will start at 9:10 a.m. followed by the 5K run at 9:30 a.m. An awards ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Awards will be given to the overall male and female top three finishers in each age group starting at 9 years old and under and continuing at four year increments through 80 years old and older.
