Trash-Barrels

Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day in Naugatuck starting Wednesday due to the impending snowstorm, Mayor Robert Mezzo announced on his blog.

Wednesday’s regular collection will be done on Thursday, pushing collections the rest of the week back a day. Regular collection schedules will resume Monday, weather permitting. Residents are asked to have their barrels curbside by midnight on the day of collection.

Beacon Falls First Selectman Chris Bielik said on Twitter the town’s regular trash pickup is moved from Friday to Saturday. Sand is also available at the town garage on Lopus Road, he said.
