NAUGATUCK — There will be no curbside collection of trash or recycling on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
Collections both weeks will be one day later following the holidays, running Thursday through Saturday. Residents are asked to have materials at the curb the night before their collection day and leave 3 feet of space between the carts.
The public works office will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The recycling center will be open its normal hours, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bulk trash portion of the center is closed for the winter.
