ANSONIA — State Sen. Joseph Crisco, Jr. (D-17) will host his annual Senior Fair Thursday.
The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Warsaw Park, 119 Pulaski Highway (Route 243), in Ansonia.
Senior citizens from throughout the area are invited to attend and participate. This year’s fair includes free blood pressure screenings and free dental screenings. Admission to the event is free for residents of the 17th Senatorial District, which includes Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Hamden, Naugatuck and Woodbridge, and a box lunch will be provided to those who attend.
“I want to encourage all area seniors to attend because more than 40 federal, state and local agencies and nonprofit groups will showcase their expertise to help seniors keep safe, maintain good health, stay informed and avoid scams that target seniors,” Crisco said in a press release.
