NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Arts Commission is sponsoring a photography contest.
The theme of the contest, which is open to people of all ages, is “Cultural Kaleidoscope … how do you see your town?” Photograpghy entries must reflect the theme. Entries must be in print format on 8-by-10 photo paper and matted. No digital, slide or video entries. A digital file must accompany the print entry.
Participants can submit up to three photographs. The title of the work, complete name and age of photographer and description of photograph must be written on the back of the photograph.
The deadline to submit an entry is Aug. 15. Photos will be displayed and judged at the Naugatuck Arts and Cultural Festival Aug. 24. Entries should be submitted with an entry form to Naugatuck Arts Commission, 229 Church St., Naugatuck CT 06770 Attn: Photo Contest. Entry forms are available in the lobby of Naugatuck Town Hall, on the commission’s Facebook page or by emailing Lisa D’Andrea, chairwoman of the commission, at Lmdandrea@comcast.net.
