Police-badgeNAUGATUCK — Police arrested a borough woman Saturday after doctors and a teenage boy reported she gave the boy a prescription drug and got him to perform a sexual act on her.

The incident was reported Oct. 8, according to police.

Carah Bosco, 27, of 1081 New Haven Road, was acquainted with the young teenager, said Lt. Bryan Cammarata of the Naugatuck Police Department.

The teen reported performing the sexual act on Bosco, Cammarata said.

He was taken to Waterbury Hospital after his family noticed he was behaving strangely, and doctors determined he had been given a drug similar to Xanax, Cammarata said.

Police charged Bosco with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child, second-degree reckless endangerment and illegal distribution of a prescription.

She was released on a $25,000 bond to appear March 6 in Waterbury Superior Court.
