NAUGATUCK — Due to the aftermath of the blizzard the Naugatuck Recycling Center on Rubber Avenue will be closed on Thursday and Saturday.

Curbside trash and recycling collections in Naugatuck are delayed by two days through Sunday. Residents are asked to place carts in a cleared location by midnight the night before their collection day. Trucks are starting their collection routes early and will not be able to return to locations where carts were not out on time. For more information, call the Public Works Department at (203) 720-7071.

There is no change to this week’s trash collection day in Beacon Falls. It will be on its regularly scheduled day of Friday.
