Democrat John “Corky” Mazurek has picked up several endorsements in his bid for state senate.
Mazurek, of Wolcott, is seeking to unseat state Sen. Joe Markley in the 16th Senatorial District which includes Southington, Wolcott, Prospect, Cheshire, and Waterbury.
Over the last few weeks, AFSCME Council 4, American Association of University Professors, the Sierra Club and the CT Association of Retired Teachers have all endorsed Mazurek, according to a press release issued by Mazurek’s campaign.
“I am thrilled that so many organizations and unions believe in my message and believe in my campaign,” said Mazurek in the release.
