ANSONIA — State Sen. Joseph J. Crisco, Jr. (D-17) hosted hundreds of area residents at his annual senior fair Oct. 11.
The event is held each year at Warsaw Park in Ansonia and senior citizens from the 17th District are invited to attend and participate. The fair drew over 300 people and nearly 50 vendors, according to a release issued by Crisco’s office.
“There is no substitute for the face-to-face contact provided by this senior fair. Vendors routinely describe the pleasure they take interacting on a personal level with senior citizens at this event,” Crisco said in the release. “This fair has repeatedly served the best interests of 17th District seniors and has proven itself time and again as a most effective outreach tool, matching products and information about state and local services, programs, and activities with those for whom they are intended and who can best use the information.”
