Beacon Falls receives small cities grant

BEACON FALLS — The state Department of Economic and Community Development has awarded Beacon Falls a $300,000 Small Cities grant to help low and moderate income homeowners.

The grant will be used to provide no interest loans to the homeowners to make needed repairs to their homes. Applications will become available at a date to be announced and responded to on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a press release issued by the town.
