Garbage collection pushed back for Labor Day

NAUGATUCK — Due to Labor Day, there will be no garbage collection in Naugatuck on Monday.

Collection days will be pushed back a day and collection will be done Tuesday through Saturday. Residents are asked to have their automated carts curbside by midnight the night before their collection, spaced 3 feet apart, and unobstructed by cars. The Recycling Center will be open usual hours, Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Public Works Office will be closed for the holiday.
