NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Elks Lodge 967 will host a Patriot Day ceremony on Tuesday at 758 Rubber Ave. to honor the anniversary of 9/11.

The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until approximately 8:30 p.m., and the public is welcome to join. There will be a candlelight vigil towards the end of the ceremony. Refreshments will be provided as well.

The Elks have been doing this program since the year after Sept. 11, 2001 according to Trustee of the Elks Donna Barrett. She is working on organizing the ceremony with fellow Elk Trustee James Desmarais.
