DERBY — TEAM, Inc. is offering $avings, Assets and Financial Education ($AFE) workshops.
The topics covered by the free financial workshops include how to avoid check cashing fees, establish good credit, save for the future. Upon completion of the course, participants are granted a member card, and are matched with a local partner bank that provides affordable banking services.
TEAM, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect individuals and families with solutions that lead to well-being, self-sufficiency and full participation in the community. TEAM programs serve the communities of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Milford, Orange, Oxford, Shelton, Seymour and Woodbridge.
