PROSPECT — Gina Nicole Buerkle, 13, of Prospect has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Connecticut Pageant.
Buerkle is a finalist in the 13-to 15-year-old age division. Buerkle’s activities include acting and modeling and she enjoys contributing to the community and meeting new people.
The pageant will be held Aug. 5 at the Coco Key Hotel & Water Resort in Boston, Mass. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, and transportation to compete in the national pageant in California. For more information, visit www.namiss.com.
