NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck-based band A Will Away has won its way into the Warped Tour at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford on Sunday.
The band competed in the 16th annual Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands. Nearly 120 bands vied for one of four open spots in the Warped Tour’s performance in Hartford.A Will Away features guitarists Collin Waldron and Ryan Cool, vocalist Matt Carlson, bassist Aaron Johnson, and drummer Sean Dibble.
The members of A Will Away have only been together for less than 18 months, but they have already put out an EP called Not Far From Home, and will soon be releasing Product of Your Environment, their first full-length album. The EP can be found on iTunes and Spotify. As of press time, the bands have not been given a schedule as to when they would perform.
