NAUGATUCK — The High Rock Shooting Association is participating in the first National Take Your Daughter to the Range Day on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is open to everyone, but focus will be given to girls between the age of 8 and 18. The young women will be given the opportunity to learn how to shoot using a .22 rifle. NRA certified instructors and range safety officers will be on duty at all sessions.
The event will also feature door-prize drawings, snacks, and give-aways.
