PROSPECT — The town is seeking bids from contractors to build a public works garage at 221 Cheshire Road.
In 2010, Prospect was one of several towns in greater Waterbury to receive grants through the Connecticut Small Town Economic Assistance Program. It received a $200,000 STEAP grant from the state Department of Community and Economic Development to pay for the garage.
The town has held a mandatory informational meeting for contractors, and they have until 10 a.m. on June 29 to submit bids.
