Loading ...Lion’s Club hosting 5K run and 2 mile walk
PROSPECT — The Prospect Lion’s Club will hold its 6th annual 5K Run and 2 Mile April 7.
The registration fee for the event is $25 and the proceeds will benefit Prospect families in need and the Yale Eye Research Center. All pre-registered entrants and the first 75 who register on race day will receive a T-shirt.
The club is seeking sponsors for the event to donate money or goods and services. Sponsors who contribute $100 or more will appear on the race shirts. Larger contributors will appear prominently at the top of the list of sponsors. For more information on being a sponsor, contact Paul Winterhalder at Prospectrun@yahoo.com.
Registration and parking will be at St. Anthony’s Church’s upper parking lot and in the church hall. Registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The race and walk will begin at 9:10 a.m.
