MIDDLEBURY – Police are looking for a missing 72-year-old man who suffers from dementia and is on several medications.
Neighbors saw the man, William J. Dermody, leave his home at 92 Joy Road at about 9 a.m. Thursday. Later, at 10:50 a.m, he was seen in New Britain, police said.
Dermody is operating a red 2006 Volkswagen Beetle with Connecticut license plate 703-RGV. He does not like to drive at night and may pull into a parking lot.
Dermody is white and has gray hair, blue eyes, his height is 5-foot-10-inches and his weight is 180 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call the Middlebury Police Department at (203) 577-4028.
