NAUGATUCK — Throughout July, the Whittemore Library will be featuring the photography of Kaitlin Clark.

Clark, a Warren resident, is an art teacher at Shepaug Valley High School and Middle School in Washington. Clark received her first camera when she was six years old and has been fascinated with photography ever since.

Clark graduated from New Milford High School and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa., with a double major in fine art photography and art education. In addition, she studied health and healing at The Graduate Institute of Bethany, where she received her advanced degree in holistic health and integrative medicine modalities.

“It was a unique combination of studies that provided this artist with the inspiration for this current body of work,” a press release issued by the library stated.

This month’s exhibit features a series of photographs, all of reflections on the surfaces of the Shepaug River and all taken within a five-mile radius of the artist’s former Roxbury home.

This month’s exhibit can be viewed on the Whittemore Gallery wall during regular library hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call (203) 729-4591.
