The Ecumenical Food Bank of Naugatuck recently received a donation of eight shopping carts from the Naugatuck Stop & Shop.

Through the combined efforts of store Manager John Tardette, food bank representative Gerhard Roland and Steve Rimkus Jr., owner of Integrity Landscaping, who donated his resources to deliver the carts to the Food Bank, an essential need was filled.

The food bank, located at 75 Spring St. serves on average 300 families a month.
