BEACON FALLS — Regina Mary Czajkowski Blizman, 72, of Beacon Falls, the beloved wife of Michael F. Blizman of 52 years, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Griffin Hospital. She was born in Derby on Sept. 28, 1944, the daughter of the late Hypolit and Josephine Synos Czajkowski.

Regina graduated from Shelton High School, Class of 1962. She was formerly employed as a dental assistant for Dr. Gordon. Regina was a nanny for many years for the Mitchell children, Amanda, Stephanie and Katie of Oxford, whom she adored. Regina was an avid homemaker she loved to cook and bake. She also loved to make clothes for her granddaughter and enjoyed crocheting. Regina also loved to play dominos and cards. She will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts.

Regina’s loving family includes her devoted son, Michael P. (Wendy) Blizman of Southbury; a caring daughter, Lisa (Brian) Faulkner of Oakland, Calif.; a loving sister, Ann Petro of Shelton; a cherished granddaughter, Delaney Blizman, several nieces and nephews, and her loving lapdog, Kelsey. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Czajkowski; a sister, Josephine Antico.

A Funeral Rite will be celebrated on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. directly at St. Michael Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Interment will follow in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. Friends and relatives may call on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (Route 67, opposite Klarides Village), Seymour.

Memorial gifts in Regina’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, CT Chapter, through the funeral home.
