The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Thomas McBurney, 27, of 72 Brookside Ave., Torrington, was charged April 3 with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree larceny, four counts of sixth-degree larceny and four counts of conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 3 McBurney was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on Dec. 27, 2016. Police reported McBurney forced entry to the victim’s home and stole a PS4, and games. McBurney was given a court date of April 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $35,000 surety bond.

Police reported on April 3 McBurney was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny from Walmart on Nov. 8, 2016. Police reported McBurney stole trail cameras, computer hard drive, headphones and a PC game. McBurney was given a court date of April 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

Alec Gridley, 33, of 11 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged April 3 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 3 at approximately 5:41 p.m. officers responded to suspicious person complaint on North Church Street. Police reported Gridley was with two females when the officers arrived. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gridley was in violation of an active protective order. One of the females has an active protective order against Gridley, police reported. Gridley was given a court date of April 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Timothy Tobin, 38, of 86 Spring St., New Haven, was charged April 4 with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, third-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tobin was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Feb. 9, 2016 between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Tobin pushed the victim into a wall. Police reported Tobin also threw a table at the victim. When the victim attempted to call the police for help, police reported, Tobin prevented her from doing so. Tobin was given a court date of April 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $35,000 surety bond.

Ralph Garmon, 47, of 19 Surrey Lane, Torrington, was charged April 4 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 7:35 a.m. Garmon turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order. Police reported Garmon contacted the victim by text messaging, which was determined to be in violation of an active protective order. Garmon was given a court date of April 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Ruddy Garcia, 38, of 1154 Bank St., Waterbury, was charged April 4 with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy at third-degree burglary, conspiracy at third-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 4 Garcia was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary that occurred on Nov 17, 2016 at the Old Waterbury Turnpike Subway store. Garcia was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Sean Outlaw, 32, of 16 Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny and breach of peace.

Kathryn Quiello, 35, of 27 Manila Ave., Woodbridge, was charged April 5 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper storage of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 1:17 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Quiello was in possession of pills not in their right prescription bottle, crack cocaine and glass smoking pipes. Quiello was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Isaiah Colon, 23, of 140 Northridge Drive, Waterbury, was charged April 5 with possession with intent to sell heroin, possession with intent to sell crack cocaine, possession of narcotics: heroin, possession of narcotics: crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory and risk of injury to a child.

Michael Trombetto, 40, of 75 Melbourne Court, Naugatuck, was charged April 5 with home invasion, third-degree criminal mischief, breach of peace, weapons in vehicles and threatening.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 2:23 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance where male parties were arguing outside a residence. Trombetto, who was a former boyfriend to the victim, arrived at the victim’s home, police reported. Trombetto forced entry to the home by damaging a door, police reported. When Trombetto was inside the home, police reported, he began to argue with the victim and the victim’s friend. Police reported Trombetto was holding a pipe at the time of the altercation. Trombetto was pushed out of the home where the argument continued until the officers arrived, police reported. Trombetto was given a court date of April 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

Mark Silveira, 29, of 285 Hillside Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 5 with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 1:46 p.m. officers responded to Silveira’s home to serve a search and seizure warrant. Police reported Silveira was in possession of a stolen property, which he was advised to preserve per the officer. On the day of the execution of the search warrant, police reported, it was determined Silveira was no longer in possession of the property. Silveira was given a court date of April 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

Gaston Ireland, 36, of 222 Bradley Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 5 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 3:32 p.m. Ireland was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of New Haven. Ireland was given a court date of April 12 to appear at New Haven Superior Court and released on a $92 cash bond.

Alexis Perez, 32, of 19-1 Porter Manor Drive, Waterbury, was charged April 5 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 7:23 p.m. Perez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Perez was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

Andres Medina, 23, of 19 Somers St., Danbury, was charged April 5 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers responded to a violation of a protective order. Medina and Sorenna Na-Lewis were found in the residence, police reported. Both have active protective orders against each other, police reported. Medina was given a court date of April 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

Sorenna Na-Lewis, 28, of 58 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged April 5 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers responded to a violation of a protective order. Na-Lewis and Andres Medina were found in the residence, police reported. Both have active protective orders against each other, police reported. Sorrena was given a court date of April 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

David Ruiz, 36, of 40 Williams St., Wallingford, was charged April 6 with third-degree larceny, conspiracy at third-degree larceny and third-degree burglary.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 2:58 p.m. Ruiz was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on June 23, 2013. Police reported Ruiz entered the victim’s home and stole electronic equipment, jewelry and wine bottles. Ruiz was hired by the victim to do landscaping on the property, police reported. Ruiz was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 cash bond.

Deyonte Butler, 21, of 131 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 2:29 p.m. Butler turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Butler was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

Taylor Riberio-Ryder, 21, of 51 Draher Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 6 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 1:59 p.m. officers responded to Big Y for a larceny complaint. Police reported Riberio-Ryder stole $44 worth of merchandise from the store. Riberio-Ryder was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Patrick Schafer, 45, of 111 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 3:24 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between uncle and nephew. During an argument, police reported, Schafer grabbed the victim by his neck and held him down. Schafer was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Michael Capozziello, 38, of 367 High St., Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with violation or of probation/conditional discharge, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance: heroin, possession controlled substance: cocaine, possession controlled substance: PCP, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or daycare, illegal sale of narcotics or certain hallucinogens, criminal possession of firearm, weapons in vehicles, illegal carrying a firearm under the influence and carrying of pistol or revolver without permit.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 6 p.m. officers responded to Mt. View Plaza on information that Capozziello, who was wanted on an active arrest warrant, was there. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they located Capozziello in a vehicle with two other occupants. During the investigation, police reported, a revolver handgun was found in the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia and narcotics. The narcotics consisted of cocaine, heroin and PCP, police reported. The handgun, drug paraphernalia and narcotics were seized, police reported. Capozziello was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a bond.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 6 p.m. Capozziello was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Capozziello was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 court-set surety bond.

Andre Genest, 49, of 26 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, was charged April 6 with possession of controlled substance: heroin, possession controlled substance: cocaine, possession controlled substance: PCP, possession in school zone, sale of narcotics, interfering with an officer and violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 6 p.m. officers responded to Mt. View Plaza on information that a man, who was wanted on an active arrest warrant, was there. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they located him in a vehicle with two other occupants. During the investigation, police reported, a revolver handgun was found in the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia and narcotics. The narcotics consisted of cocaine, heroin and PCP, police reported. The handgun, drug paraphernalia and narcotics were seized, police reported. Genest was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a bond.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 8:10 p.m. Genest was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Genest was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

Crystal Lee, 31, of 8 Alford Drive, Albany, was charged April 6 with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance: heroin, possession controlled substance: cocaine, possession controlled substance: PCP, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or daycare, illegal sale of narcotics or certain hallucinogens, criminal possession of firearm, weapons in vehicles, illegal carrying a firearm under the influence and carrying of pistol or revolver without permit.

Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they located him in a vehicle with two other occupants. The narcotics consisted of cocaine, heroin and PCP, police reported. The handgun, drug paraphernalia and narcotics were seized, police reported. Lee was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a bond.

Matthew Fahy, 23, of 29 East Liberty St., Waterbury, was charged April 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 7 at approximately 11:22 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Meadow Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Fahy was operating under the influence of alcohol. Fahy was given a court date of April 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Jose Soares, 63, of 47 Beardsley St., Naugatuck, was charged April 8 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 8 at approximately 10:01 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Soares was operating under the influence of alcohol. Soares was given a court date of April 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Jason Marino, 36, of 14 Mott St., Ansonia, was charged April 9 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 2:19 a.m. Marino was found to be in possession of narcotics. Marino was given a court date of April 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Nikki Caron-Balnis, 25, of 223 New Litchfield St., Torrington, was charged April 9 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 10:18 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. The asset protection officer stated the accused stole $44.45 worth of socks, women’s razors and children’s cloths, police reported. Caron-Balnis was given a court date of April 19 and released on a promise to appear.

Ricardo Santos, 26, of 60 Englewood Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 9 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 4:53 p.m. Santos was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Santos was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
