The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Alfonso Parra, 35, of 179 Beacon Valley Road, Beacon Falls, was charged March 27 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 27 at approximately 1:02 p.m. Parra was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Shelton. Parra was given a court of April 5 to appear at Derby Court and released on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

Alberto Neves, 48, of 225 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged March 27 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 27 at approximately 8:16 p.m. Neves was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Neves was given a court date of March 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

Debra Martin, 26, of 226 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged March 27 with breach of peace.

Police reported on March 27 at approximately 8:04 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance between acquaintances. During an argument, police reported, Martin refused to let the victim leave. She stood in the doorway of his vehicle so he could not drive away, police reported. Martin was given a court date of April 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Matthew Pavia, 39, of 232 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 27 with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace.

Police reported on March 27 at approximately 9 p.m. Pavia was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for larceny complaint reported on Jan. 22, 2017 from Stop & Shop. Police reported Pavia stole $167.99 worth of merchandise. When he was approached by store security, police reported, Pavia pushed the employee several times. Pavia then fled the parking lot in a vehicle, police reported. Pavia was given a court date of April 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

William Burns, 19, of 20 George St., Naugatuck, was charged March 28 with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 28 at approximately 8:10 p.m. Burns was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny from the YMCA reported on Jan. 26, 2017. Police reported Burns entered the building after hours and stole money from the YMCA. Burns was given a court date of March 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

Michael Harris, 29, of 32 Lawton St., Torrington, was charged March 29 with three counts of first-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny and fourth-degree larceny.

Marc Guardino, 19, of 31 Jason Court, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police reported Guardino turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on Feb. 25, 2017. During an argument, police reported, Guardino punched the victim on her arms and leg. Guardino was given a court date of April 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Kyle Eighmie, 25, of 95 Rhoda Lane, Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported Eighmie turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on March 2, 2017. Police reported Eighmie was hired to service the victim’s chimney. While at the home, police reported, Eighmie stole a power drill and accessories valued at over $300. Eighmie was given a court date of April 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Shaba Lyons, 26, of 50 Marble Lane, Milford, was charged March 31 with driving under the influence and operation of motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock device.

Police reported on March 31 at approximately 12:36 a.m. officers responded to New Haven Road for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Lyons struck an unoccupied parked vehicle in the parking lot of a business located on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lyons was operating under the influence of alcohol. Lyons was given a court date of April 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Jose Alvarado, 39, of 2635 3rd Ave., Bronx, N.Y., was charged April 1 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 12:06 a.m. officers responded to domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Alvarado was in violation of an active protective order by being at the victim’s home. Alvarado was given a court date of April 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Perry Pavlou, 39, of 103 Lake Ave., Trumbull, was charged April 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 5:28 a.m. Pavlou was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pavlou was given a court date of April 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

William Lawson, 54, of 40 Moore Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with second-degree failure to appear and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 8:18 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Lawson threw items in the home and broke a bookshelf and a night stand. Lawson was given a court date of April 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Police reported on April 1 at approximately 8:51 p.m. Lawson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The accused was given a court date of April 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 cash bond.

Dennis Savard, 30, of 284 Church St., Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 8:15 p.m. Savard was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a disturbance reported at the YMCA on March 15. During an argument with another tenant of the YMCA, police reported, Savard punched the victim. Savard was given a court date of April 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Joel Williams, 22, of 3 Garden Hill Road, Middlefield, was charged April 2 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 2 at approximately 6:07 p.m. officers responded to a disabled vehicle in parking lot of Crosspointe Plaza. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Williams was operating under the influence of alcohol. Williams was given a court date of April 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Philip Duarte, 56, of 121 Ruela Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 3 with second-degree assault, interfering with an officer, assault on public safety/emergency personnel and breach of peace.

Police reported on April 3 at approximately 12:27 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between father and son. When the officers arrived, police reported, Duarte was inside the home breaking a window with a broken shelf. Police reported Duarte became confrontational with the officers and struck one of the officers in the forearms with a broken shelf. Duarte was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
