NAUGATUCK — The Park and Recreation Department’s annual Easter Village opens this weekend.
The village is open Friday through Sunday and April 13 to April 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the department, 258 Rubber Ave.
The village features visits from the Easter Bunny, concessions and a contest to guess how many jelly beans are in a jar. Photos are available with the Easter Bunny or visitors can bring their own cameras. Special events are planned, including Pete & Chris Amusements Magicians on Saturday and Kurt from Balloon Benders on April 14.
Admission is free, but monetary donations are welcome. Visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable donation for the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank. For more information, call 203-720-7071.
