CHRISTOPHER CHANDLER, 42, of 23 Myrtle Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 17 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Aug. 17 at approximately 8:31 p.m. officers responded to 143 Bridge St. for suspicious person complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused was wanted on an active arrest warrant. Chandler was given a court date of Aug. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.
PHILIP KELLEY, 37, of 288 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with failure to respond to infraction.
Police reported on Aug. 18 at approximately 1:31 a.m. an officer identified Kelley as he was walking on Maple Street. At that time, police reported, it was determined Kelley was wanted out of Southington on an active arrest warrant. He was given a court date of Aug. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $92 cash bond.
SEAN JOHNSON, 23, of 241 Fairwood Road, Bethany, was charged Aug. 18 with driving under the influence.
Police reported on Aug. 18 at approximately 1:54 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Johnson was operating under the influence of alcohol. He was given a court date of Aug. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
MICHAL NURCZYK, 26, of 88 Village Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with weapons in vehicles.
Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 2:19 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Great Hill Road. During the investigation, police reported, Nurczyk was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. He was given a court date of Aug. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
DAVID MICHAEL, 43, of 2 Smith St., Ansonia, was charged Aug. 19 with breach of peace.
Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 5:57 p.m. officers responded to 48 High St. for a threatening complaint. The complainant, David Michael, was involved in an argument with Bannie Pight, police reported. During the argument Michael picked up a breaker bar, police reported. Pight left the area but returned and threatened to harm Michael while holding a baseball bat, police reported. Michael ran from the area prior to the officers’ arrival. The police K9 was used to locate Michael hiding in a van in the area, police reported. Keith Daisey and Sean Kennedy were standing next to the van and initially lied to the officers about Pight’s location. Michael was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
BILLYJO NIKLEWSKI, 40, of 505 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with breach of peace.

BANNIE PIGHT, 49, of 81 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with breach of peace.

The complainant, David Michael, was involved in an argument with Bannie Pight, police reported. During the argument Michael picked up a breaker bar, police reported. Police reported on Aug. 20 at approximately 4:17 p.m. Via was arrested on active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on June 18, 2015. During an argument Carin Zerbrini threw a strainer at Gregory Via, police reported. The next morning the arguing continued and Via broke bedroom door. Via was given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.
Police reported on Aug. 20 at approximately 4:17 p.m. Via was arrested on another active arrest warrant. Viawas given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 court-set surety bond.
CARIN ZERBARINI, 45, of 430 Field St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 20 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 20 at approximately 4:17 p.m. Via was arrested on active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on June 18, 2015. During an argument Carin Zerbrini threw a strainer at Gregory Via, police reported. The next morning the arguing continued and Via broke bedroom door. Zerbarini was given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
LYNDSAY WASILUS, 28, of 925 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 21 with sixth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance.
Police reported on Aug. 21 at 4:57 p.m. officers responded to CVS for a larceny complaint. Police reported Wasilus, who is an employee of CVS, stole medication from the pharmacy. She was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
NICOLE CURRIVAN, 20, of 12 Perna Lane, Riverside, was charged Aug. 21 with driving under the influence and third-degree criminal mischief.
Police reported on Aug. 21 at 4:57 p.m. officers responded to Cotton Hollow Court for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Currivan struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Currivan was operating under the influence of alcohol. Currivan was given a court date of Aug. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
Police reported on Aug. 21 at 4:57 p.m. Currivan was being processed in the booking area of the Naugatuck Police Department for DWI charges. Currivan became uncooperative and began to kick the holding cell numerous times, police reported. Currivan caused damage to the cell, police reported. Currivan was given a court date of Aug. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
KATHLEEN WEISS, 21, of 36 Woodbine St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 24 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 24 at approximately 1:14 a.m. officers responded to Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Weiss slapped the victim. She was given a court date of Aug. 24to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
SHANE KISH, 21, of 36 Woodbine St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Aug. 24 at approximately 1:14 a.m. Kish was arrested on an active arrest warrant. He was given a court date of Aug. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $150 cash bond.
