Ginger Fennell, vice president and controller at Naugatuck Savings Bank recently graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Philadelphia. Stonier is the association’s national graduate school of banking for bank executives. Fennell, a Naugatuck resident, received a bachelor of science degree from East Stroudsburg University and an MBA in accounting from the University of Scranton.

Sokol's Taekwondo LLC held a rank testing June 16. The following students were promoted to 1st degree Black Belts: Michele Turecek, Chirs Turecek, Trevor Simmons and Simon Khairallah. Kim Kiernan achieved the rank of Black Belt Recommended.
