Loading ...Letter: Touched by service of Elks
To the editor,
I was deeply touched by the large group of volunteers from the Elks Club that took the time and effort to help me and my son by doing yard work and cleaning my gutters on a Saturday morning.
At 84, it gets harder to deal with my house and yard work. But, after 30 years here, I don’t want to give it up. I try to be as independent as possible.
