Loading ...Letter: Grandparents appreciate commission’s actions
To the editor,
We as grandparents are always concerned regarding our twin granddaughters’ safety. A letter was written by us to the Police Commission regarding stop signs at their bus stop on Bird Road in Naugatuck.
The Police Commission all agreed that stop signs were the best choice at Spruce Drive and Bird Road since our twin granddaughters are picked up for school at a dangerous blind turn.
We would like to thank them for their expert analysis and timely actions. We can now sleep better at night knowing that our granddaughters are safe. Thank you also to [Deputy Police Chief] Josh Bernegger for the phone call confirming our request.
